• Face too small or too large in frame — the 60–72% face-height ratio is enforced during digital capture; an image outside this range will not be accepted by the biometric system
• Head covering obscuring facial features — religious headwear is allowed, but hats, scarves or wraps that shadow or cover any part of the face will result in recapture
