- Glasses of any kind present — SIAC enrolment staff will ask you to remove them regardless of prescription; this is a hard biometric rule, not a discretionary check
- Non-religious head coverings (caps, fashion scarves, beanies) — only a documented religious head covering is accepted, and even then it must leave the full facial oval visible
- Face partially obscured by hair falling across the forehead or cheeks, prominent jewellery near the jaw, or a collar rising above the chin line
