At dm Foto (Germany and Austria) you can either be photographed on site or print your own ready file. If you print your own, it has to meet the standard in advance — and that's what we do: upload a selfie, we fit the size, background and head proportions to the requirements, and dm Foto prints it at a self-service kiosk in store, by ordering online and uploading your file or with in-store pickup.

Good to know: dm can capture a biometric photo in store and transmit it electronically — useful since printed biometric photos are no longer accepted for German passports.
